Yellowstone Park Visit

We decided to spend Saturday 14 May 2011 visiting Yellowstone Park (always an enjoyable activity).  We did some Geocaching as we traveled (a great way to stretch your legs).  Check out some of our pictures from the day trip.

New Cachers?

Had family here from Virginia for a week.  Showed them how to geocache while they were here.  Have we created new cachers?

Start of the Season

It appears the weekend that just ended may have been the start of the active geocaching season for 2011!  We even went looking for a couple of caches while we had a few minutes.  Met another caching family while looking for Number Sixteen Feels Right at Home GC2PZBD.  Need to give this one some thought, then go back again - didn't have enough spare time yesterday.  Sure is good to have warmer temperatures and enough snow gone to give us all the fever again.

The Winter Blues

Saturday, 19 March 2010, Idaho Falls, ID, 11:30 am.  GC2M5HR The Winter Blues.  A group of Geocachers got together (inside, out of the snow and cold) for lunch and socializing.  Saw many friends we already knew, and met a number of new friends.  Shared experiences and upcoming plans.  A drawing was held for door prizes.  We discovered more geocoins and travel bugs - got ourselves discovered at the same time.  A good time was had by all.  Thanks to drcxz2, rdorbison, and IdahoNeko for putting this event together.  Everyone is looking forward to the upcoming warm, non-snowy days when geocaching comes alive in our area.
